Dominance and submission describes a consensual arrangement where one person takes a leading role and another chooses to follow, within limits both have agreed.
◆Responsibility runs both ways
The person leading is responsible for paying close attention and respecting limits. The person following keeps full control over consent and can stop at any time. Neither role means less respect.
◆It stays where you agree
For most people the dynamic exists only during agreed moments. It should never be used to control someone's money, friendships or everyday life.
